So I was cleaning out my closet a few weeks ago, and between all the mess and piles of plastic hangers, I had an epiphany. Why, I asked myself, did I use so many junky plastic hangers? I’m a guy who likes a good amount of color in my wardrobe, but when that color extends to my hangers, in the form of pink, green and blue plastic hangers, it is time for a re-thinking of my closet space.
Normally I wouldn’t give a second thought to my hangers, but it so happens that I had just stumbled upon some awesome top hangers the day before. There was this picture of a suit jacket on a nice wooden top hanger and it sparked my curiousity. Why don’t I have nice looking hangers like that to hang my nice clothes on? I didn’t have an answer. Thus my interest the next day when I was cleaning out my closet.
So fast forward to today, a day where if you were to look inside my closet, you would see a neat line of nothing but dark wooden top hangers. I can see why nice clothing retailers use these for their merchandise. They really do make the closet look better. On top of that, they don’t make those annoying little stretches in the shoulders of my clothes because they gradually taper, unlike some plastic hangers I used to own. They’re just a dream to have.
So the point of my story is to hopefully get those of you out there who are sick of having closet accessories that don’t match the quality of the clothes that reside there to invest in top hangers. You will not regret it, I promise.
